Nuove Voci, Nuove Stanze inaugurates a new collaboration between F2T Gallery, Milan, and Casa MB, a project born in Los Angeles and established in its distinctive Milanese domestic space in 2023. The exihibition features works by Valentina Artone, Valentina Blundo, Oliviero Biagetti, Aleksandr Nuss, Bu Shi, Lucia Spadotto, and Morigen Yan.
Marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter, F2T Gallery will take over the Casa MB space to present a new exhibition program, bringing together a selection of emerging artists based in Italy. Through this collaboration, F2T Gallery extends its program into an intimate, domestic setting, creating a dialogue between contemporary artistic practices and the unique character of the space.
The project brings together Italian and international artists who live, work, or have studied in Italy — voices diverse in background and artistic language, united by a living relationship with contemporary Italian culture. In this sense, the exhibition is also a quiet homage to the Italian art scene itself: to its academies and studios, its histories of painting and craft, and to the way this context continues to shape and welcome new practices, whether rooted here from birth or arrived from elsewhere. The works inhabit the rooms of Casa MB not as foreign bodies dropped into a white cube, but as presences in dialogue with the domesticity of the place: walls, natural light, thresholds between one room and another become part of the exhibition's narrative, not merely its container.
Nuove Voci (New Voices) because these are, in many cases, still developing practices, not yet fully codified, which the exhibition intends to support and place in relation to one another.
Nuove Stanze (New Rooms) because the space itself — unconventional, intimate, inhabited — becomes part of the meaning of the exhibition, a place where art returns to measure itself against everyday life.
Nuove Voci, Nuove Stanze marks the beginning of a shared path between F2T Gallery and Casa MB, a bridge between Milan and Los Angeles that looks to new generations of artists as common ground to explore, beyond geographic borders and the usual definitions of "exhibition space."
